Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Duncan, you’re right. I should have defined what I meant by a successful antibiotic treatment. I was referring to completion of the standard regimen--which, as we know, doesn’t always work. Take a look here: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs10096-004-1163-z Here are a few of my references...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Velvetmagnetta, we must have posted at the same time. Consequently I repeated much of what you just said. Sorry!

I love that you emailed Ceres about this! They are always so helpful. BTW, I PM'd you. Did you get it?

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Henry-- Haha….. You think *I* should do more studying!?! I have been brief with my responses and explanations so far because this isn’t worth my time, but now I must. You are infecting hope with splintered, fragmented truth and the illusion of knowledge. Sufferers do not deserve this. This link (htt...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

I understand very well the reciprocal expression of OspA & OspC, which is why I know that your argument against the Nanotrap test is an invalid one. Go back and read the article you sent me. It states very clearly that the downregulation of OspA is neither complete or persistent. This downregulation...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Henry-- Your erroneous assumptions are in direct relation to your naïve pomposity.

I was not disagreeing with the articles, I was disagreeing with the conclusion you drew from them.

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Henry -- The section titled 'Clinical Considerations and Common Pitfalls' in the article that you provided doesn't sound very definitive to me! Your understanding of OspA & OspC is narrow, and the conclusions you've drawn from those articles are dangerously wrong. You are shouting your opinion in th...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Henry-- I am not here to push any sort of agenda, for or against chronic Lyme disease (or the Nanotrap test). You've assumed a motivation for taking this test that I do not have. I was only trying to share information. You're right, though. The Ceres test remains to be validated. In fact, there is c...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

I just shipped samples from three different people to Ceres. We expect results in 7-14 days. I'll post the results along with our stories when I get them.

Some of the comments on this board regarding OspA are incredibly inaccurate and misleading.
