Re: Tincup's coverup and brainwash operations regarding Schaller

Okay, this is by far (for me, anyway...not been around as long as some) the most ridiculous thing I have seen on lymenet. For sheer idiocy in terms of "reasoning" it surpasses even the "Frontline experiment" in my mind. And, what the h---? What is this "sensitive" "secret" about why he is not in ILA...

Yet ANOTHER Schaller personality?

Well, at least we know he's keeping busy somewhere...in Lymenet's "Seeking A Doctor" section. I think he is camped out there as poster "Faith" ( he really must be in touch with his feminine side). I guess he is pretty desperate if he has to hang out on support boards trawling for new patients. Even ...

Re: ILADS Lyme Disease Conference on October 24-25, 2009

Claudia,

Sorry I haven't responded to your question...I'm just seeing it today. I missed Eva Sapi's presentation...I wasn't well enough to last more than a few hours each day at the convention.

I didn't hear anything new about biofilms at the presentations I was able to attend. Maybe next time?

Re: ILADS Lyme Disease Conference on October 24-25, 2009

I went to the conference...I thought it was very well done and informative. My only complaint was that I interested in a lot of the "Breakout Topics", but since they overlapped, it wasn't possible to go to as many as I would have liked. I didn't see anything for sale...so, no bumper stickers, sorry!

Re: BettyG

Sorry, I guess I am a total sucker then. :| Metallic Blue has given me an enormous amount of doctor info for various members of my family. I can't even imagine the number of hours that he has spent compiling the positives and negatives on literally hundreds of MDs in various specialties all over the...

Re: BettyG

Fin and Claudia, I've only been reading the lyme sites for about a year and a half, so I don't know what lymenetusa was like before that. When I was new to that site I received Betty's welcome and I took it for what it was worth...someone who was reaching out to help with issues of her own. I usuall...

Re: BettyG

Although I don't agree with many of the ideas or "treatments" discussed on lymenet, I do believe that most of the posters there are genuinely trying to offer their support to others. I have to commend Betty and the other longtime posters who donate so much of their time to reach out to people in nee...

Re: 2009 Lyme Forum in Washington DC

NatCapLyme is a very well-organized group. I went to a lecture in D.C. recently put on by their support group...it was excellent.

[quote="Cobwebby"]Every one thinks their opinion is right-so this is a win win thread. So true!....so can I have my own thread for my opinions only?? (just joshing!) I really do enjoy reading everyone's opinions/discussions...most enlightening. Cobby, As far as supplements go...it really is a jungle...
