Lyme and blood donation in EU countries

Hi all! I need everybody's help with another question, this time regarding the potential differences between different countries (primarely in Europe) regarding the view of the risks involved with a Borrelia infection. I find it quite interesting that (in my country) you allowed to donate blood alre...

Re: Antibiotic Treatment Duration and Long‐Term Outcomes

Re: I need assistance

Do the medical authorities in your country not know English ? The main reason for looking for papers ...

Re: Lyme documentary UNDER OUR SKIN not nominated for an Oscar

Hi, Really interesting insights. The factors which I believe could be contributing to this is partly that there are studies indicating that females 45+ seem to contract Lyme more often than males in the same age span. Others studies also indicate a higher incidence of treatment failures among women ...

Re: I need assistance

Hi again, Maybe it is appropriate that I share my latest finding regarding this subject #24: http://www.springerlink.com/index/HW3N418643575563.pdf The summary of this paper is a bit modest, since the poor lady in question in fact initially received 10days 200mg/day Doxycyline for a EM-like rash bac...

I need assistance

Hi All! I am new to this forum and I would like to start by asking a favour of all German and French speaking forum memebers. The thing is that the medical authorities in the northern EU country where I live have practically never heard of such a thing as treatment resistant borreliosis. As a conseq...
