Dr Googlittle, you wrote:

Is it a LLMD, or someone else?

Hello PhD Googlittle! :D You wrote: Fortunate people can eliminate the infection completely without any treatment Are they sure the bacteria is eliminated, or do they only guess? Maybe the bacteria is still there, but they feel fine? By the way, those "sticks" (as you called them) that I call "worms...

Re: Positive predictive value of B. burgdorferi serology

As I understand it, ELISA and Western blot are just names of test methods, and what you find, is due to what the test is seaching for. If you (for instance) use a test that is made for American Lyme (Borrelia Burgdorferi ss), it problably miss a lot of European Lyme cases. Or am I wrong? I, myself i...

Re: Positive predictive value of B. burgdorferi serology

Bela Pal Boszik (Hungary): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiwRTu9zg5k There are estimates stating that more than one of every ten people is infected by Borrelia burgdorferi in the EU and the USA. Why don't they learn how an active (or latent) Lyme infection express itself, instead? And perhaps use d...

Hello again Yvonne! We are almost the same age, I am 46. You asked: ” Do you also have an another treatment for the SIADH besides ABX ?” No I don’t need another treatment for my SIADH since antibiotics (thank good) still make this go away. Re: How are the Lyme guidelines in the European countries?

Something good is going on in Sweden! :) There has been a lot of writing in our newspapers about our Swedish “Lyme-problems” and this fast growing problem have even been discussed in Swedish television, several times. http://sydsvenskan.se/sverige/article257154.ece " Flera fall av patienter som söke...

Hello! Since some of the info about me have ended up in the ”wrong topics” I give you the info again, as a presentation of me: I possibly have had Lyme since summer 1997, I am on full time sick leave since fall 1999, and I am now on Lyme treatment prescribed by an endocrinologist, since our "Lyme ex...

Hi!

The info in the post above is a bit misleading, Lyme is increasing almost everywhere in Sweden!

Re: Reactivation and immune evasion of Borrelia infection

Hello again Yvonne! I understand your English perfectly! My treatment for the moment is: 3g/day of Amoxicillin and it is prescribed for 2 months, but I already know that this is not enough. I have a secondary disease that could be caused by Lyme, SIADH: http://www.emedicine.com/emerg/topic784.htm “S...
