Re: Evidence for strain-specific immunity in treated l. pati

Statistical models assuming a biologically realistic distribution of the expectation of a particular strain of B. burgdorferi strain causing infection in human patients (derived from multiple datasets from patients in the same geographical region) demonstrated that the probability that so few patie...

Re: Test Kits for Detecting European/U.S. LB

Here is an article on Chinese testing for borrelia: http://www.besjournal.com/Articles/Archive/2013/No3/201302/t20130220_77498.html They didn't use test kits. Didn't know that multiple spaces or tabs are preserved when using code-tags. Very useful for tabular data!

Code: Select all

Thanks	ChuckG :)

Compiled from the net '09 through August '10 with earliest found dating to '06. Data put into TextEdit file wit...

Re: Lyme disease - An Australian acquired infection too

Re: USA Today: DE & VT Have Highest LD Rates

The delta, 2002 to 2011, may be related to change in age structure of population and changes in the distribution of population urban-suburban-rural, etc. Climate change also plays a part.

Re: USA Today: DE & VT Have Highest LD Rates

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/03/lyme-disease-rates/2757071/ Has the incidence (i.e. rate per 1000,000 ) of Lyme disease really dropped that much in Connecticut since 2002 or are fewer cases simply being reported now for one reason or another? I also find the drop in rates for N...
