Thickening the letters?

Post by sizzled » Sat 1 Dec 2007 1:08

I was wondering if there is a way I could thicken the letters so I can see them better?

Thanks, in advance!

Sizzled,

I assume you mean making the letters bold or larger?

Each computer/browser is different but here's a few ways:

On your computer, when in this forum---- click on the Edit at the top of your browsers page.

There may be something called Make Text Larger. Click on that.

Some browsers will have it under VIEW

Some under FILE and Preferences.

There's also some keystrokes to do the same thing---- but again, each computer is different.

You might try control/shift and the plus/equal key in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard.

Or Control Plus.

I'd try the edit first. See what you find.

Someone else may have an easier way to explain.

Besides the examples cave76 gives, you can also change the font size on this board by clicking the icon in the navigation bar of this board that looks like this: ˇA^.

Another option is to enable ClearType Text in Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), which makes the following difference:

You can also enable ClearType in Firefox and everywhere else.

Of course you can also lower your screen resolution to get bigger fonts.
