Here you can socialize and have fun with other board members, and talk about all sorts of topics that are not related to Lyme disease.

One of my fav bands in Portland, OR, is MarchFourth Marching Band

What is MarchFourth Marching Band?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m9xN4Z7 ... r_embedded

"Decked in whimsical costumes and combining the circus big ring with world music sensibilities, M4 has us re-thinking our concept of a marching band. Heavy on the brass, bass and drums, not to mention, stilt-walkers, M4 brings the Balkans to us, then mixes it with New Orleans jazz, gospel and all things cool and groovy." --World Music Central

Joy to the World European Tour in September.

In another thread here, I happened to mention Sam Cooke in passing, remembering things that were going on when my neuro symptoms started to appear.

I don't think that I have heard these tunes since...proving, I think, how the junk messes with your mind, as this is great stuff. (What was wrong with me)? Some of his best:

Sam Cooke - Chain Gang - 1960

Sam Cooke - Cupid (Original Version)

Last weekend we held "grandparents day"

These day, we chose instead of father and mothers day. So our children can celebrate those days with their own children.

We have hired mobility scooters for those who can not walk and went a few hours with children and grandchildren to the zoo.

It was really fun. I've enjoyed the Ocean and the Gorillas the most

Josh Groban and the African Children's Choir

You raise me up :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VqRlO3w ... re=related

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.
Listen to all,
plucking a feather from every passing goose,
but follow no one absolutely
